Pallay Punchu Full Day
Jagged, knife-edge mountains striped in red, green and ochre above a high Andean lagoon. One of the most unusual landscapes in the Andes, still off the mass-tourism radar.
Overview
Pallay Punchu ("woven poncho" in Quechua) is a ridge of sharp, colourful rock fins in the province of Canas, whose stripes look like a traditional Andean textile. From the viewpoint you will also see the deep blue Langui-Layo lagoon. It is a newer route, ideal for travellers looking for something different.
Highlights
