Markets, San Blas, the Plaza de Armas and the best local food, all on foot from the hostel.
One day in Cusco? Here is our favourite walking route from the hostel, designed for your first acclimatisation day.
Morning
- Breakfast at the hostel (7:15–10:00).
- Fresh juice and local life at Rosaspata market, 3 minutes away.
- Walk down to the artisan quarter of San Blas (8 minutes).
Afternoon
- Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral (12 minutes).
- Join our City Tour at 12:30 to see Qoricancha and Sacsayhuamán.
Evening
- Typical Cusco food at Picantería Pequeño de las Manuelas, 3 minutes up Pumacahua street.
- A cold beer with other travellers on our terrace.
