Travel insurance is a crucial consideration for any traveler venturing to Peru. Being a developing country, Peru presents a unique set of challenges and uncertainties that can lead to unexpected inconveniences. Comprehensive travel insurance can mitigate such risks, offering coverage for a range of potential issues, such as theft, loss, accidents, illness, and even trip cancellations or delays. A well-chosen policy can ensure that your experience remains magical and worry-free, regardless of any unforeseen circumstances that might arise. Even though most journeys in Peru are typically hassle-free, it is always advisable to be prepared. After all, when it comes to travel, it is better to be safe than sorry.
Travel insurance not only provides financial protection, but it also offers peace of mind while traveling. In Peru, where the terrain can be rugged and unpredictable, having travel insurance can provide a valuable safety net in case of emergencies. With comprehensive coverage, travelers can enjoy their trip without worrying about unexpected medical expenses or lost belongings.
Moreover, travel insurance can also be tailored to individual needs. For those planning to engage in adventure activities like trekking, hiking or even bungee jumping in Peru, specialized adventure sports coverage can be added to their insurance policy. This ensures that travelers are covered for any potential injuries or accidents while participating in these high-risk activities.
Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable Deposit:
At “SUNRISE PERU TREK Travel & Tours,” we want to ensure that your trek or tour is secured and reserved exclusively for you. To do so, we kindly request a deposit ranging from US$50 to US$400 per person. For your convenience, we accept PayPal as a payment method, although please note that a 7% PayPal Business Fee will be applied and covered by the traveler. It’s important to keep in mind that all deposits made are non-refundable and non-transferable. Should you need to cancel your trip, our cancellation policy includes a cancellation fee. Furthermore, it’s crucial to understand that deposits are not transferable to another individual’s trek.
Final Payment Terms:
To ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience, please note that the remaining balance for your tour must be settled in person at our office in Cusco at least 2 days before your start date. Alternatively, you have the option to pay in advance through PayPal, with a 7% merchant fee borne by the traveler. Please be aware that we accept both U.S. dollars and Peruvian currency of any denomination at our office. However, we kindly request that you provide untorn bills. If you are unable to arrive in Cusco 2 days prior to your tour commencement, please make arrangements with the “Sunrise Peru Trek” team to settle your payment before your arrival.
Cancellation Policy for Treks and Tours:
