Our treks to Machu Picchu, especially the Inca Trail, come highly recommended. As a 100% Peruvian company founded in 1999, we offer a diverse array of tours, treks, and ecotourism packages across Peru. Our professional team, experienced in the tourism sector, is ready to guide you on your adventure. Our mission is to positively impact the world, with community support as our top priority. We are committed to environmental sustainability, leaving no trace on our trails and assisting in trail maintenance on every hike. We are eager to share our homeland with you, hoping you will fall in love with Peru as much as we have. We conduct tours in Cusco, Inca Trail Treks, Alternative Treks, Machu Picchu Tours, Inti Raymi Tours, Cusco Day Tours, and jungle trips. Our fixed programs ensure you have the trip of a lifetime with the guidance of our experienced tourism professionals. Our high-quality equipment is regularly updated to enhance your travel experience. At Sunrise Peru Trek, we support our community through Community Projects, donating 10% of our profits. We primarily aid rural communities from where our porters and employees originate, as well as small communities along our routes. These projects are organized in partnership with non-profit organizations. We have previously received tourist donations of second-hand clothing, shoes, school supplies, and more. Every Christmas, we select three communities for specific projects. Our Inca trail cooks prepare hot chocolate and Christmas cake, and we share gifts with the children in these communities. |  |

SUSTAINABLE TOURISM
Sunrise Peru Trek supports the regulation program at the Machu Picchu Incan Sanctuary, which aids in site preservation and promotes sustainable tourism in the region. We were the first to back the porters’ rights under this program, which limits porters to carrying a maximum of 20 kilos (formerly 50 kilos), sets minimum wage standards, and ensures porters are equipped with warm clothing, proper gear, and sufficient food. We prioritize environmental care and manage our waste responsibly during treks.
We limit tours to a maximum of 12 people to ensure comfort and safety. For tours with fewer than 8 people, we provide 1 licensed bilingual official tour guide (2 guides for groups over 8), plus 1 cook, 1 cook assistant, and 1.5 porters per tourist.
